Okay this just came in from gecs website and
1. It sounds and looks fantastic
2. THIS VERSION OF BILLY KNOWS JAMIE NEEDS TO BE ON STREAMING ASAP WTF, IT FAR SURES THE ORIGINAL

Sound quality and sleeve quality are excellent! No surface noise. Great pressing!

the copies i got for sale had a barcode sticker "075678630439" and "made in Italy" on the back of the sleeve instead of czech republic

my copy sounds really tinny and compressed and it really takes away from my enjoyment of the record :( its a shame bc i love this album. might try to exchange for a new one

I agree with Tarrare somewhat below in the reviews👇🏻 from a sound perspective.. First....a really cool album. I picked the album up out of curiosity and from all the year end press/ media lists where it was lodged in.
Songs are clever....violet pressing surprisingly (GZ) is clean and quiet....however the mix and mastering ( from digital files?) overmodulates in the low end and it is very loud across the eq band sonically in some of the vocals on specific songs. Perhaps that was on purpose, but not likely. Takes away from the enjoyment.
A big system will point all this out and not favorably.

Love the amount of work put into this cd. It had the alternate versions of 757 and Bille Knows Jamie just like the vinyl does.

Something about this album feels different when listening on vinyl. It sounds…grander? I’ve only ever felt that maybe one other time when listening to vinyl. Good album, fantastic pressing, and the packaging is very 100 gecs-like.
