Edited one month agoPerfect pressing !!! Almost without clicks, pops, surface noise or other issue. Really very clean sound in virgin black vinyls. Also the packaging are fucking amazing. Like a hardcover book. 100/10 !!!!! A classic masterpiece of drone. -
Can someone please confirm if this is a Gatefold? Southern Lord website states "Deluxe Tip on Gatefold Jacket with OBI strip", but other retailers haven't included these details. -
I don't have an earlier pressing with which to compare this, but it sounds great! You'll really want to crank it; it's flat and quiet and the drone dynamics really do become more immersive the louder it goes. As an object, it's beautiful. I love the art by Jo Ratcliffe. -

Don't have an earlier press to compare to, but the sound quality is wonderful. Whisper quiet. Black One sounds as evil as ever. Color variant is beautiful too. Great press -
I love everything about this pressing. The sound is massive. The gatefold is thick and has a really nice texture. The picture discs are thick and look great spinning. So glad I opted for this version.
