While side A was warped my clamp helps it out and the records themselves sound great come with a cool poster -
Not a great pressing. The musical brilliance does shine through though is hurt by constant crackling. The packaging is very nice though.

The pressing is noisy. Just not a little bit and you can deal with... It's NOISY. Spin clean and Degritter didn't change anything.
Such a wonderful album, such a shame to release something with so much clicks and pops -

How would you know if it's warped? It all sounds like the engine of an ice breaker cutting its way to Antarctica for an hour an a half (this is a compliment). -

Ugh, the first disc is terribly warped. ing Southern Lord about a replacement. -
It seems there are two variants for this record store day release. Mine is more of a merge than a splatter.

I wish they wouldn't mess about with this daft gold splatter vinyl; it always spells disaster. My copy has clicks and crackle all the way through, completely spoiling the mood and atmosphere. It's going straight back. Let's have a proper plain black vinyl please, and stop all this gimmicky nonsense.

Edited 4 years agoBeautiful packaging, as always. A lot of surface noise with the initial playback, but after a quick cleaning, it was fairly quiet... but still has some crackle and pops. Looks like there's a bit of glitter in the vinyl mix too. The blue, circular hype sticker says "Masami Akita" inside the Sunn circles and "3: Flight of the Behemoth" on the outer circles. -
The cover is shiny and the gatefold and inner sleeve artwork is very good. It also come with a big poster which is great to look at. Sadly my pressing has a lot of surface noise and the first LP is very badly warped; I have to turn the tracking force up just so it doesn't skip. At least the records look really nice, especially when you hold them up to the light. -
