Way back when LL was promoting himself & was giving out tapes to labels by the dozen, one tape ended up at Def Jam & a young Ad Rock (Adam Horovitz) was the ears for talent & listening to the tapes that would pile up at Def Jam - after sifting though the tapes recognised the quality of a tape by a guy calling himself LL Cool J & told Rick & LL Cool J was born of which Ad Rock had the pleasure of writing his first tune (this one), along with LL & RR! Fact!
