What can I say about this album!
A total "musical beast".
Unsured musical result!
Atmospheric, emotional musical tones, wonderfully unique vocals and ages of all instruments,
fantastic musical editing and artwork!
Features some of all times best tracks, such:
Night Sounds Loud
Sand
They Who Have Nothing
How Many Days Have ed
Mr. Blue
The Ballad Of Freddie & Larry
A HONEST THANK YOU, TO ALL THE of -CLEAR LIGHT- -
Sounds great on my modest system. It's a really interesting record that sounds almost doom stoner metal like in some spots. Recommended for any psych fan

This reissue is prior to CD and messed up remastering.
If the original sounds any better, so be it, this is fantastic.
Apart from which, the album is stunning in engineering as much as in musical arrangements. If listened to with a historical ear it's top of the pops. Great! -
Edited 11 months agoClear Light were one of those bands who at one time were only known for the fact that one of their went on to fame in Hollywood as one of their was actor Cliff De Young. Luckily time has ed and now it’s more known for being some first rate sixties psychedelia

Though this does appear to be a true mono mix, it's by no means better than the common stereo mix, since it takes away one of the core elements of the sound of this album, that being the separated double drumming heard throughout the LP. It just sounds like one drummer when both drum tracks are centered, and the massive stereo soundstage of this album in general is lost in this mix. This is one of those albums that was meant to be heard in stereo. -
This is an excellent, fuzzed out West Coast psych album. Read the other reviews for more details. But two things seemed to be missing from this other reviews - firstly - their are two drummers credited, and either they are playing in unison much of the time they are separated, each in their own channel - but once I figured it out it was even more enjoyable! Secondly, if you are a fan and prefer vinyl I would highly recommend searching for a reissue on Sundazed Records. It’s out of print, and as time goes on fewer copies are available as the price goes up. Grab a copy now!

Sole album release from these Los Angeles Psych Rockers whose went on to play with CSNY. The Doors, & Carol King. A classic, hard to find Album... -

The more I listen to this release the greater it sounds. Underrated. -
