Sun Ra – Lanquidity

My copy came unsealed and without any insert (liner notes) ; as is mentioned on the hype sticker listed in the photos here.
Just wondering if anyone else had this happen too, or whether all copies are meant to come with the insert ?
I noticed that within the first handling of the metallic cover , it was suddenly covered in finger prints and they seem to take a lot of effort to remove. I guess there's not much avoiding this , but it seems a shame that they've gone to the trouble of the metallic foil cover if it's going to look so messy after a small amount of handling.

Does this pressing suck like their other ones? Really need a copy of this not a new vinyl full of surface noise.

Picked up a used copy last week and my pressing is flat and clean. The sound is awesome very warm, spacious and dynamic, I can’t imagine it sounding much better, definitely a buy!
My dead wax has “ the carvery” written in cursive in addition which i see is on the vinyl me please pressing

Wow wow wow. This sounds fantastic and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend grabbing a copy. Holiest of holy grail records until I find that OG copy!

lets be honest, this is an accident !
tried my luck, cause of some kinda positive comments here.
my copy is super flat, but significant clicks all over the a side.
a2 where pathways meet, which i came for, is not enjoyable.
also loosing parts of the both tracks before & after, a1 & a3.
at least the b side without higher surface noise.
but 2200 owners, should be harcore fans.

Controversial release. The sound is superb - clear, open and wide, detailed top end. Just perfect.
The packaging is awesome too. Cool box with inner sleeves for the each version, nice booklet. Too bad there are regular paper sleeves for the plates.
On the other hand - terrible quality control. All four records are full of scuffs and even scratches. Plates 3 and 4 look just awful - like they came out of the crusher. Luckily most of the scuffs don’t affect the playing. But the scratch in the end of the last track is so bad, that I didn’t want to push my luck and play the record to the end. In fact I have only negative experience with releases pressed in Poland.

Excellent copy. No warp on my copy ordered directly from STRUT via Bandcamp. Sounds like an excellent version of the album.

Even no hassle with this pressing. no problems with the hole or warping, sound is fine (but i don't know the dynamics of the original masters)..

Love this record! 70's beat meets Sun Ra! This copy is damn good! Very slight warp. Dynamics are damn good for a reasonable reissue!

Anyone know what year this copy is? or decade? ty
