Had this 7" in my collection for a few years, never listened to it before (knew "Le Freak" of course). What I did not expect is that killer instrumental on the B side! Amazing guitar led track!

This probably pressed around 1986 going on the Sam number on the labels and design of printing font and shape of stamper.

Oh dear it's happened all over again what is it with these Dutch guys that think they can remix/mix when had it with Jaap Eggermont then that awful Ben Liebrand (tampering with Tavares etc etc etc) now we have Oliver Heldens, its just a waste vinyl. and effort, he his NOT a Tom Moultion, a David Morales etc. He has not added to an original he has destroyed it why?
Do not waste your money on this.
Whats the diff between Heldens and a Kenwood? A Kenwood can mix!

there is a second sleeve to the french 12" orange vinyl issue w/ a kind of sepia photo of the band all four walking up to the camera. Everything else is absolutely the same.

i saw an interview with Nile Rodgers & Bernard Edwards...they said they wrote 'Le Freak' after being denied entrance into studio 54...its original lyrics that evening were 'f*@# off' or something to that effect...after the track was released they had no problems getting into the club...a timeless disco track
