Cerrone – Cerrone 3 (Supernature)

If you want a vinyl to really show your system off (or see if it’s actually any good!), this particular pressing of this disco odyssey does just that! You’ll be hard pushed to hear the title track ‘Supernature’ in better form that this, in all its true original analogue glory. This version also has them mixed, just how they originally were meant to be heard. Superb!

Give Me Love has horrendous surface noise at the beginning

The audio is incredibly muffled and compressed. Sounds absolutely horrible compared to the original pressing, just like the 2011 CD. Might even be the same mastering. Also, the 25 sec intro is missing from these reissues.

Absolutely stunning in my system. This must be a hot stamper.
It sounds ridiculous good.
Really, this is on the level of early, original Kraftwerkpressings.

The room and the system should be on Point to enjoy this.
Could be considered shrill otherwise.

This sounds squished, not a fan of the audio quality. It's not the worst but not exactly as the other commentators say it. At least on my copy.

Masterpiece, groundbreaking disco LP from one of the pioneers of Eurodisco.
Side A is dark/spacey disco at it's finest--who does not know "Supernature" at this point in time? If you don't, better late than never. This side concludes with the closer "In the Smoke" which is more of a dark synth dirge than anything disco. (and it's awesome)

Side B is more on the straight ahead disco tip, kicking off with one of Cerrone's best "Give me Love". This has one of the funkiest disco breaks ever with that wah wah guitar coming back in...fantastic. The last 2 tracks can be skipped IMO.

This is such a good album from start to finish. My copy sounds very good, with lots of detail and pretty much no surface noise. Highs are a bit too strong for my taste (same as on Cerrone's Paradise), but that's what the treble dial on the amplifier is for.
