The Flaming Lips – Transmissions From The Satellite Heart

Never have I owned any other press of this, but I highly doubt I could ever need a different one because DAMN this thing bangs. Sounds phenomenal.

The other reviewers weren’t kidding, this pressing is insanely good! I’m hearing things I’ve never heard before, but it keeps that lofi crunch. The bottom end sounds deep and full, and overall this is the clearest way to hear this album that I know of. It’s a bonus that the grey vinyl looks fantastic.

Recently bought this version based on the skull head instead of the WB logo on vinyl label …2 things , its def not 180 grams it’s probably 160g and it has CB in the dead wax ( C Bellman) and its sounds great!

Just picked up this Chris Bellman remaster and happy to say it is flat, clean and dead silent , the music sounds clear and spacious… great sound on this!

My copy was skipping right at the beginning of side A, but a simple cleaning fixed that. One of the best sounding records that I have, very quiet with not a single click or pop. I hope Clouds Taste Metallic gets a new pressing that sounds as good as this one.

La musica, allucinante e avvolgente, è uno stupendo caleidoscopio di stili ma i principali richiami di Coyne sono Hendrix, Beatles, Pink Floyd e il blues elettrico condensato in ballate stupende (Don’t Use Jelly e Chewin The Apple OfYour Eye) e canzoni dure o psicadeliche. Molto interessante e per niente scontata.....

I’m almost never inclined to write a review, most of my records don’t stand out enough to justify. Except.. this one is exceptional. All the instruments “pop” and the mastering is top notch. Will absolutely send you on a psychedelic journey, this is the press to grab

Great sounding remaster and an excellent job by Chris Bellman! If your copy of this doesn’t sound good, your shit is broken, and you need to get new shit.

Agreeing with others - this is a great pressing. Not a single pop/click to be heard, and very little background noise between tracks. I highly recommend this.
