I am wondering if this will ever get a vinyl reissue. Some of VNV's other albums where reissued but not this one yet. Advance and Follow needs to be next after this one. -

Praise the Fallen is a well-produced album that continues VNV Nation's sound from their first release, Advance and Follow. It begins with the track "Chosen", which through dialogue creates a portrait of a world torn by war, the theme of all the songs on the album. "Joy" must have been used as the track name for the sake of irony, as this song is anything but cheerful. Changing the sound of the whole album is the orchestral melody of "PTF2012", which sounds uplifting after the heavy beat of Solitary. Next is "Schweigeminute", German for "Minute of Silence", which is just that: a full 60 seconds of silence. Finishing the album is an unlisted and unnamed 12th track with an airy synth melody, significantly lightening the mood. Overall, this album combines heavy mechanical, dark ambient, and orchestral sounds to create a brilliant work that fully embellishes the original feel of the EBM genre. Highly recommended.
