Profile:

Name variations: "Jesus-Christus-Kirche", "Jesus Christuskirche Berlin-Dahlem" or "Jesus-Christus-Kirche, Dahlem"
Not to be confused with Studio Christuskirche, Berlin, located in the district Oberschöneweide of Berlin.
Protestant church built in 1931, located in the Dahlem district of Berlin, .
Because of its acoustic advantages, the church has also been used as a recording studio from the early 1950s. Since then, many classical recordings have been made in the building, mainly for Deutsche Grammophon, but also for many other major labels.
Organ: the church was originally equipped with a newly built Sauer organ, which was damaged during the war and replaced in 1971 by a new organ (III/P/45, including swellboxes and a roll-swell) built by Emil Hammer (Hannover), using stops from the previous organ; Hammer also overhauled the instrument in 1989; renovation is planned for 2025/26.
