SSD (Southern Star Duplitek) was an Australian video cassette and optical disc manufacturer active until March 2002.

Southern Star Duplitek, based in Alexandria (a suburb of Sydney), was the manufacturing subsidiary of the Southern Star Group Ltd., which first listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1996 (although the Southern Star Duplitek name and plant were active prior to 1996). As a producer of cassette tapes, then CDs and DVDs, it was one of three wholly owned Australian divisions, the others being Southern Star Entertainment & Southern Star International.
