Children's record label, which recorded music from 1950-1957 (and marketed LPs up to 1977). This label was an outgrowth of Book-Of-The Month Club and Encyclopedia Americana.
In 1952, Greystone purchased YPR, and continued to operate the CRG club throughout the 1950s. YPR and CRG titles were marketed on 78rpm discs until the late 1960s.
They did significant business with The Children's Record Guild.
