I tried to find Le DISQUAIRE and Apocalypse in Nice but I suppose they don't exist any more...

Crazy Rhythm was still there... It was pretty chaotic (which I kinda like actually) but unfortunately most records were way overpriced. 6-13 € for some common George Benson or Stevie Wonder albums that you find for 1-2 € here. There was practically no electronic music. I saw lots of French music (no idea of genres), pop, jazz, classical and soul/r'n'b. Some blues & new wave too. But I'd say you have to be an expert in the specific genre to find anything worth buying, unless you're ok with buying overpriced records. Especially because I saw no listening station. The owner was nice and helpful though!

Vinyl Corner de Rouen a fermé ses portes.

I just spent last weekend in Toulouse - went to 6 of 8 record shops I could find listed. If anyone is interested I could post a snapshot review of each I visited. It happened to be Disquaire Day (RSD) in last saturday which meant there were probably larger than normal crowds out in force. My overarching impression is that used records in these stores are overpriced, as compared to the States and UK. But that didn't stop me dropping a few notes.

Thanks for advice, visited Toulouse last week (monday). A number of the ones mentioned above were closed unfortunately, despite their stated opening hours online. Bullitt has moved to Rue de Lois, so good concentration of shops on that street. Didn't pick up any bargains/rarities but worth visiting if you happen to be in the vicinity

I found a surprisingly good shop in Biaritz, very good on jazz and free improv, with a large all styles section. Prices weren't cheap, just normal, but some raerz...

If you're looking for cheap used records, you're better off going to the other shop in Nancy, "Punk Records", still located at 27 Rue Des Maréchaux, 54000, Nancy.

My Brother-in-law has a couple of places around Brittany (Bretagne) - Mainly specialising in mid-century furniture / bric-a-brac but they have a growing section of used Vinyl that takes up a big portion of the shops but it is just 100% quality

Regardless of promoting the family if you're ever in the area Its well worth a dig!
I have to restrain myself every time I go over!

Hello, there is nothing in Bergerac but there is a very good record shop in Perigueux: "La demotheque" - adress is like this: 8, avenue Daumesnil - Perigueux. Honestly, it is as good as some record shop in my biggest city of Bordeaux. Moreover Perigueux is a small but very beautiful city. Go! :)

Great Blog! Although I could provide some updates here and there, especially on Belgian cities. What I do find a bit unfortunate and unnecessary, is your obvious subjectivity especially in regards to a personal dislike on dance music.
