Awesome ambient jungle! Or drum and bass as it got called when it became boring! Omni Trio's Living for the Future is one of the best tracks ever of this genre. Beautiful cover reminiscent of Artificial intelligence comp maybe but React always had a futuristic tech clean cover look! Reactivate comps also look great! Very much of their time! And to think, it was all before the internet....

A brilliant and under rated comp. Very influential. Sound quality is good and those tunes…..wow.
Top quality electronic music from the mid 90s.
Confusingly. The remix of Link ‘amenity’ is actually an exclusive track I think. It’s a different version of the same tune that’s on the flip side of ‘close your eyes..’ twelve by Chameleon on GLR. A very different version and just as good as that GLR twelve….
So while it’s still cheap I’d get in just for that rare Chameleon/Link track.
But you still get the bonus of amazing music like the Alex Reece mix of DJ Phantasy, Sounds Of Life/Source Direct ‘Currents’ and Alex Reece and Wax Doctor in their Jazz Juice guise.
Proper good quality range of tunes that’s a lot cheaper if you wanted to buy them individually,

Excellent compilation that captures Jungle at its creative peak- each track is bursting with ideas and innovation. The tunes here are from a period of the music where the ghosts of hardcore and rave still haunt the emerging ambient jungle style, but before the smooth rolling and jazzy drum and bass style that would follow had become established. Tip!

Fantastic to see Crystl sweet dreamz on this. Have a copy myself and still enjoy playing this record. got a lot going for it.

This LP is an inspired collection of "Ambient Jungle" tracks which predated Logical Progression by a year. Highlights include Tranquility, Sweet Dreamz, Sparkling and Amazon Amenity

None of the tracks are exclusive except the stunning original mix of Sparkling by Optical. Despite his prolific output in later years he never made a better track than this.
