Soundgarden – Superunknown

Recently got a sealed copy with the 200g hype sticker. I ed at least 5 sellers of this on here and not a one had the hype sticker. Most I fear are 180 Gram pressings which is also skewing the pricing of this pressing.

Got this from amazon, threw the dice since the descripton said 200g.
Arrived with no hype sticker or code, but still they are 200g.

I just scooped this US pressing, factory sealed for $50 CDN. All the markers add up to it being this particular pressing. The records feel heavier than 180G but looking at the price stats above....something seems afoot here. Either I got extremely lucky and the seller had no clue what they were selling me or I've mistaken what I have for this pressing. Anyone have any idea what else I can look for to identify it properly?

Just want to add my two cents: Bought this record new from a record shop and there was no sticker indicating which version ( 180 or 200gram). I assumed I would just be getting the 180. But when I got home I weighed out the records on my kitchen scale and they were both over 200 grams. It is likely lots of people actually have the 200 gram version and don’t even know it (unless of course there was a sticker). My record sounds great!

My copy certainly feels 200g heavy and has the same barcode and Matrix / Runout listed. Regardless, this LP sounds amazing and really shines on my system. Chris' voice never sounded better. Glad I have this as part of my collection!

could anyone confirm the code at the bottom of these labels? In the pictures shown here I see 0602537804689-LP01-A printed on the labels and I'm just trying to distinguish my record from this release as I have forgotten whether or not mine had the 200g hype sticker when I bought it. (my labels have B0020476-01-LP01-A printed on them)

There have been several copies of this Lp being sold (and priced) as the 200g version, problem is without the hype sticker that says '200g' there seems to be no way of confirming it's NOT the 180g press (unless the vinyl is actually weighed to be 200g).
The reviews are also very mixed...

I have no idea about the weight discrepancies, but my discs sound fantastic. Deep but not overpowering bass, Chris sounds clear as day, the guitar distortion sounds perfectly fuzzy (like a good grunge guitar should), and nice and punchy drums.

anyone purchased this from amazon or discounters like importcds? i wonder if they are selling the US ron mcmaster or the EU gz cut. thanks

I read up on this version, with mixed reviews from the Steve Hoffman forums, and other opinions on Amazon. Listening to it now through an Audio Technica AT-LP120 w/Klipsch RP-150M and a Yamaha R-30 receiver--in other words, low budget, good sounding gear (I also washed the record with a Spin Clean). With the bass turned down a smidge, the record sounds amazing. The guitars are loud and crunchy, the drums hit hard w/o crackling, but probably the best feature is how crisp and dynamic Chris Cornell's voice sounds. I got a great deal on this for $20 plus shipping. Well worth it, as this is one of my absolute favorite albums.
