Was für eine Verwandlung hat diese Band mit dieser Platte durchgemacht. Von der Techno- bzw. Dancefloorband zu der Big Beat-Band der Stunde. Das Ganze wird noch ordentlich mit Punk, Acid, Jungle und Alternative aufgemischt und heraus kam dieses Album, welches an Aggressivität zu jener Zeit seines Gleichen suchte. Was sich als Neuheit mit der Single „Voodoo people“ auf dem Vorgängeralbum schon andeutete, wird hier auf Albumlänge geliefert. Gleich zu Beginn, wird einem die Textzeile „Change my pitch up, smack my bitch up“ sehr oft um die Ohren gehauen, gepaart mit derben Basssequenzen, die zum Tanzen und zur Aggressionsbewältigungstherapie anregen, da er auch orientalische Klänge und Gesänge von Shanin Bada liefert. Im folgenden „Breathe“ knallen dann die Synthies wie Peitschenhiebe auf einen hernieder, die auch wegen den Textzeilen „Breathe the pressure / Come play my game I'll test ya / Psychosomatic addict insane / Come play my game / Inhale, inhale, you're the victim / Come play my game / Exhale, exhale, exhale“ an eine Folterszene erinnern. Im dritten Song „Diesel power“ rappt Urgestein Kool Keith über technische Details, insbesondere über das „Model 706-8073-421, Robot Sonic“. Es folgt die Acidhymne „Funky shit“. Gleich zu Beginn von „Serial thrilla“ wird der Song „Selling Jesus“ von Skunk Anansie gesampelt und es folgen wieder diese Basssequenzen, die deine Gehörgänge hinaufkriechen, um dann in deinem Gehirn zu explodieren. Als kleine Verschnaufpause kann man dann „Mindfields“ ansehen. Der göttlichen Figur „Narayan“ wird dann ein Song gewidmet, gesungen von Chrispian Mills (Kula Shaker), der aber leider zu lang und am Ende zu monoton geraten ist. Dafür folgt dann mit „Firestarter“ der beste Track des Albums, da hier alles zusammenkommt: Geile Breakbeats, kurze und prägnante Shouts und diese Aggressivität, die deutlich spürbar ist. Daher folgt auch zum Runterkommen das Instrumentalstück „Climbatize“. Zum Abschluss gibt es dann noch eine Warnung an alle Lügner dieser Welt mit „Fuel my fire“.
