I'm next :D if you have a sleeve for this record, please hit me up. I don't mind on the condition, as long as it's not completely split on all 4 corners. Peace

“I met Fela Kuti in Nigeria in 1979, and we felt into a great relationship, good personal and music vibes, and we recorded that album together. Fela also came to USA on the eighties and we performed at NYC's Madison Square Garden. Amazingly energetic, Fela Kuti had 27 wives and a very original concept that was called the Afro Beats – a genre with a very unique identity and exceptional music. One of Fela Kuti's most impressive qualities was that he was undeniably a brilliant show man, as a musician and as a huge dancer as well. His African concept was truly original. His son, Femi Kuti, became an amazing musician as well.
The tour was about two black men together coming together, one from Africa and other from USA, a very exiting collaboration – I had a lot in my life! We toured all Nigeria, with small buses, like on a Safari", Roy says. It was a kind of a rough travelling. Everybody survived the trip, but according to him, it was tuff. After all, as reminds Roy Ayers, politically, Nigeria was a mess at that time. "They were stopping us all over the way, but the police let us go through all as soon as we told we were with Fela. One of our guys went home early."
