Edited 8 months agoHonest review: gatefold is flimsy garbage, and the pressing is just what you would expect from a GZ media pressing (listed in the credits-go have a look at the reviews of that plant). Quality control is horrible. Records were warped out the shrink-wrap, and far too much surface noise. I'm not picky about a few clicks here and there, but this was far beyond what I could tolerate from a new record. Not just tics but audible tearing sound. I have plenty of records I buy for a couple bucks that I can live with having a bit of noise, but this is a bit much. Anyone familiar with GZ media and their usual problems with quality control will know before buying it exactly what to expect. Don't get burned like me and stay away. It is a shame considering it's such an amazing album. Also super misleading to say this was manufactured in Canada. The record was pressed by GZ media, a pressing plant in the check republic. Which part of the manufacturing was done in Canada, I wonder?

Edited 2 years agoIncredible pressing, barely any surface noise and clear sound. Some great songs on this album too, pick this one up if you see it!

Powerhouse 2xLP set, with a nice soundstage & punchy-fat bass. The Hip totally rip it up on this sumbitch! Found one mis-priced for $9 from WalMart of all places. In Gord we trust!

Remastered by the man, Bernie Grundman. The first review holds strong no disappointment had if you still haven’t , pick this one up.

Great job with the mastering and pressing. Hip fans won't be disappointed with the latest round of reissues.
