An excellent press. It not the best Floyd album. But it’s my favorite

Excelente pressing!!! All arround, a must have, even if the álbum was recorded in digital, and the drums/bass in analogue whit Dolby S R noice reduction, is an inpressive sound, and is a fine álbum. Get it in good price

Just bought this hefty bastard today! Appearance, it's very true to the first press aesthetic, just more beefcake! Sounds, lol, it's damn loud and damn good. OG was DMM and Floyd's first digitally recorded album and sounded dope af. I own this on CD from sometime in the late 90's, LP from my mom, a first press release from September '87, and this big mofo. Better? None. All are dope. CD is pristine and would shut the yap from the "clickdicks" if they weren't also elitist scrotum-lickers likely to refuse comparison as vinyl is God or whatever...lol....❤️ The original press I have is....mmhmmm.... it was clearly moms favorite for some time and now sounds like a gravel driveway being played on my Technics AFTER ten, TEN, wet scrubs. But I knew it would only slightly improve and that's what I scored from my input. It is Mom's record and could be trash and still valuable only to me. However after Signs of Life and Learning to Fly it does improve and regardless where you drop the stylus IT IS LOUD. And pretty, if gravelly. 🥺🤘❤️ This new press, I'm not gonna split it from the OG regardless how it sounds. It sounds effing great and if you want it or just bought it or just found yourself here, buy it play it love it. And the guitar on SORROW will wake the dead when played on my 980, SP3000's and SP2500's all in a gang!!😍🤘❤️

I’d have to say this pips the original pressing by some distance. Bernie has done a great job on this one, capturing the late 80’s feel as it was originally recorded. 180gm vinyl is clean flat and quiet. Gatefold is much better quality than the og which was flimsy at best.

Yeah, some pops and clicks, but not very bad and mostly not even there. And welcome to records! People who can't get past some of that should probably go get the CDs. Good sounding record. Much better than the old tape or CD from back in the day.

Brand new and warped. :( I worry about QC now.

I just received a NM pre-owned copy and gave it a spin. I didn't get far, which is unfortunate as this is the album that got me into Pink Floyd to begin with. This was the most crackly piece of vinyl I ever put on (until the new live Dark Side)... even after a cleaning. I could not get past 60 seconds... it might become a clock as I would not sell this to anyone sounding like this. I am looking for another copy. PS: I also received a NM WYWH this weekend and that sounded fantastic!

Incredibly good sound quality. Dead quiet, overall mix is even and balanced.

I highly recommend this pressing over an original or that awful new remix. Most originals I have seen have pressing flaws. On the remix they messed with the drums on One Slip, and it ruins the song. This one is quiet and sounds excellent.
