The vocals were sampled beautifully on the amazing 'I Feel it" track from Suzie and the Cubans.
Classic. -
Edited 7 years agoI'm very surprised that no one has commented on the fact that this track is heavily influenced by Night Moves – Transdance. It's probably common knowledge with Chicago house heads but it should be pointed out at least

Edited 17 years agoEven before being part of Master C & J (Bias, Crosby, Jones), mr. Carl Bias was in fact behind Quest. In 1985, his most famous composition was released - produced by Rimfire with Liz Torres on the vocals (by the way the same girl that would sing on Carl Bias' classic "In The City" as Master C & J): "Mind Games".
This fascinating piece of Underground House Music was one of the first of the genre and part of its famous vocals by Liz Torres were sampled by several electronic music acts since then: "No more mind games!" (in "Mind To Mind" by Joey Beltram & Mundo Muzique from Second Phase, 1991) and "You have to understand!" (by Altern 8 on "Real Time Status", 1991).
