Edited 3 months agoBought new. A 2mm, audible "leaf-like" object is pressed on C02. Non-audible mark through most of B01. Overall the sound is quite muddy and mediocre. 3/5

Edited one year agoFine sounding reissue. I like the loud sound. sometimes too overdriven, especially in come talk to me...
But hey .. nice album 4/5 Stars -
Great album, maybe my favourite PG album with So.
Descent pressing, quiet and dynamic, better than my original CD. worth the money. Disc 1 is flat, disc 2 a little warped, but plays fine. -
I love this album. The sound is fantastic. Crisp, clean, and lots of detail. Not to mention the music itself is among some of Peter Gabriel's most creative, "Digging in the Dirt" in particular sounds insane!

The sound is great! Better than the CD I used to own. When Levin comes in on bass on the 1st track, “Come Talk to Me” you’ll be happy.
I also heard little nuances I had missed on CD. I have the Double Vinyl version.
This album is an underrated masterpiece that a lot of people put down (Ozzy Osbourne I’m looking at you! After he said “So” was his his favorite album of all time).
Worth it for the price x100000000000

Another great release of a great álbum, like all Peter did. I have the 331/3 RPM. This sounds powerful and huge bass all arround. Great stereo soundstage and the voice allways on front. Record sound very clean and no pop or noice to be advice. I have the original CD and that sounds fine, but this remaster is more Open and less saturated to my ears. Recommended!

I have the original release CD and it sounds very good already, yet this 2016 remaster sounds even better. More open more room filling more weight, and the addictive bass...normally I hate boomy bass but in this album it sounds better if I tune on my sub.
