Like many, I suspect, this was pretty much the first D&B album I ever owned. One for those, like me, who never set foot in a D&B club but could get the music all the same. Remains one of the best albums of the genre ever made. I've always found this album a curiously relaxing listen which may be due to this collection's deep debt to jazz.
To this day, it's an album I'd recommend as a great gateway into the genre. It calibrates your ears perfectly.
