My copy seems extremely distorted with the louder sounds. Anyone else have this issue? -
Playing on Technics SL1500C with Oftofon Blue cartridge.
I have not listened to any other version of this on vinyl.
This, however, is a great sounding record, no background noise and a great live album.
Happy that I bought it. -

This should have been 3 LPs and complete like the newer CD version was. Missed opportunity!!

As others have said - if you've only heard an original copy this will blow you away! I rarely played my RCA copy as it was so poor sounding - this copy will be played ALOT! Get a copy now in case they don't repress for some time! -
Visconti really performed a miracle on this new version! Clean sound, overdubs stripped, and all the flaws and authenticity restored. If you've only heard the RCA or Rykodisc versions, this one is a revelation! Still a shame the Jeff Beck medley is excluded, though. -
