The first 7,500 copies of the original 7" were issued with a free flexi-disc, pressed on turquoise vinyl, which was shrink-wrapped with the single.
Track A is an edited version.
Track B is an outtake from the Empires and Dance session, and contains a hidden locked groove with what sounds like a tribal drum pattern.
The flexi-disc featured two bonus tracks, probably recorded during the "Real To Real Cacophony" sessions.
"Kaleidoscope" had previously appeared live during the "Life In A Day" tour, whilst "Film Theme Dub" was a radical reworking of "Film Theme".
It was the band's first remix.
