Why is this so cheap? The Suntown pressi ng should go for at least $20 in VG+. shame this classic isn't given it's proper accord.

Edited 7 years agoThe track doesn't sample Dynamix II's Just Give The DJ A Break as is the common belief. The track samples a Roland TR-808 kick drum onto an EMU-SP1200 Sampling Drum Machine, and that sample is played back at 2 different pitches creating the low & high tone bass, which is the same thing that Dynamix II did on their Just Give The DJ A Break track.

Edited one year agoOne of the most perfect electro-bass tracks I know. Filled with lots of cool samples like Kraftwerk's "Nummern", James Brown's "Night Train", a very kickin' (and interesting) percussion, fine scratches, a bassline-sample of Dynamix II's "Just Give The DJ A Break", some cool raps and all in all an unbelievably forward-drivin dynamic and power - combined with many variations and changes so you never get bored. Simply kicks ass. Give it a try!
