Here The Prodigy take a more techno oriented route as opposed to breakbeat, but the result is still rave mayhem of the highest order.
A cutting acidic synth line dominates the proceedings (think 'Take Me Away' by Cappella) with the mad 'Everybody In The Place' vocals. The name 'Fairground Remix' is apt because it does sound like a rollercoaster ride. It is impossible not to dance your socks off to this record.
The other two tracks on here continue the techno orientation, both with buzzing bass lines and rave samples aplenty, but with just about enough technical know how to ensure that they have aged gracefully.
Watch out for the brilliant promo video that accompanied this release. It features the Prodigy foursome larking about in New York City in front of completely bemused locals, and finally being chased down a street by the NYPD - hilarious.
