Edited 2 months agoOK, I see many different opinions here. My copy sounds nice and clear, but very bassy. As soon as I lowered bass, there was no "muddiness" in sight. He is sounds the same as all other songs so I don't know what everyone else is talking about, but considering it's the last song it coild be the case of IGD which is usually down to worn stylus or misalignement. That said, I bought a copy for my friend and he has problem with regular skipping on B side. I took his copy and played it on my turntable, not a single skip. Obviously something weird with this pressing. I play it on Pro Ject Jukebox E with Ortofon OM10. He played it on Sony turntable with AT stylus (don't know which one). Only thing that comes to mind is that grooves are somehow shallow. I don't know, but I am very happy with my copy.

Edited one year agoSadly, I didn't get a very good copy, and it didn't sound very great. I'll try to give it a clean and see if it changes anything. It looks to be kinda dirty. It's a great album! But I guess I didn't get very lucky this time.

Side A is almost perfect. On "He Is" the sound quality is poor.
Side B is skipping all the way. Maybe it's my TT but it's unlistenable. -
My copy is also a bit warped, but plays perfectly. It has a single pop and I agree that the sound on "He Is" is quite bad. But the rest sounds very nice with good clarity, well separated instruments and a great low end. The packaging and the booklet are beautiful.

Poor quality. Sounds muddy, especially track "He is", which is is barely listenable :( Nice booklet.

Although I love this band, I have to say that I've never been able to listen to any of their LPs in their entirety.
This one sounds muddy and never stops skipping. Awful. -
Top press, I agree with previous comments the vinyl might be a bit warped but it is nothing serious I would say and to be honest, kinda normal for an LP that is not 180g. Anyway, it does not affect the sound at all, and speaking of it, what a marvel, it was a whole re-discovering experience to hear this with such an awesome mix, I had the redux version on CD already but this mix is just miles away in quality, warm and punchy low end. My copy had no cracks, no pops, just perfect plus an awesome artwork and package overall.

First copy I received had a crack on first track within the first minute. My replacement copy has the same crack, anyone else?
