My copy is dead silent and sound awesome. The bass and the drums are lovely, everything's really well balanced. Love it.

Great soundtrack. A little noisy in some parts but not audible enough to create any distraction from the performance

Edited 9 years agoAgree with the previous comments. Sounds great. Huge drums and a pretty crisp high end. Pressing isn't the quietest I've heard but the noise doesn't detract from my enjoyment of the album. Would love an official release but I'll settle for this.

The vinyl does carry a little more background noise than usual records. Through headphones you can also hear a slight analog buzz in the background. The soundtrack has a lot of really quiet parts which makes it tough for vinyl mastering. So if you want clean sound and optimal headphones experience better stick with the CD. Apart from that the sound mix is really awesome. Seems they put a little more emphasise and compression on the low ends. The drums are just - wow! It sounds really powerful and well-balanced. Will probably blow you away on a big sound system. They also got the deep mid range cleanly transferred to vinyl. So no complains on the mastering. The actual pressing cound have been better. Still glad this is finally out on vinyl after 20 years. No idea why Sony never thought this was a good idea to just do themselves.

Edited 9 years agoBlown away by how great this sounds. Deep bass and crisp bells on the opening track erased all my fears. I'd prefer an official release, but you can't go wrong with this bootleg.
