I don't know what Maurice and Danny took before they sat down to make thise track. A mono "Poing" sample, that "sits" on a headbanging base-drum, and wash your brain for five and a half minutes.
How silly can you get?
What's the point in such minimalism?
Couldn't you waste your synthesizers on something a bit more complicated?
Did you realy think of making money from this peace of sh**?
Well... You probably was right :D
Redicules as hell, but It's still one of my favorite tracks. After many years, it keeps making me laugh every time I play it! :D
The funny thing was that this track has been follwed by many other tracks, with a similar idea:
for example - F.O.X - "Boing" (The "Boing" Sampled from a Classic Kraftwerk Record), Organic Substance - "Driplle" (based on a little sample, which is very femiliar to all the Macintosh s...)
Was this the start of the Hardcore-Rave scene?
