On his bandcamp, the label says :"Strut present the first official reissue of a landmark album in the field of African music, Mulatu Astatke’s ‘Mulatu Of Ethiopia’ from 1972".
So it seems this a total legit reissue. I think Strut is a serious company. I can be wrong...
Right, the mono LP is really good, better than the stereo one.

Same comments as below, My copy came sealed, but was warped to a degree that it was barely playable. The mastering sounded flat. Origins of the repress are indeed very unclear and I highly doubt it is completely legit. I would not recommend buying this record unless you are sure about the quality of the vinyl.
