Like several other Pye releases it seems this is one of those that is transparent dark purple vinyl which can be seen in sharp light. -
I have a copy of NSPL.18371 that I bought in South Africa with a Mauve fading to Orange label with 'Leeds music (Africa) (Pty) Ltd (P)1971 on the label. It says - Made in South Africa by SABTEL record and tape co. (Pty) Ltd. I have not seen any references to this pressing/Lable colouration. -
Hi I have copy of dog of two head the album is gatefold PYE records is in the yellow box on front cover & has blue Pyle labels as on 1971 version but the matrix is stamped as the 1979 version. But I thought this version was black and white labels. As thoughts on date of this version -
I HAVE A PYE RECORD OF DOG OF TWO HEAD - MATIX ARE, 3301.SA AND 3301.SB ALSO HAST BEST ETCHED AND BELL SOUND PRINTED SMALL. ITS A US IMPORT I THINK, AND HAS A TINY CUT OUT OF THE TOP RIGHT HAND CORNER. CAN ANY ONE LET ME KNOW ANYMORE ABOUT IT.
