I found this pressing by chance at the Paris Brancion record show a few years ago, probably a later reissue based on the German original, but with French labels (Sacem).
Then I studied this album for a long time by acquiring other existing versions, but this pressing outclassed all the others, not only the American original, but also the UK one, which was supposed to be the best. However, it's less good than my Australian re-pressing of 1980, but by a tad. The sound is indeed very vibrant, deep and warm; perhaps a little less balanced than the English pressing, but really more pleasant in of listening.
This is only my opinion of course, but if you come across this edition one day, or the German original, don't hesitate.
But if someone wants to say something about this, he's very welcome; perhaps I was luck to find an excellent cut, but maybe it is not the case with the other german ones made for the same version.
