In 1973 the British Led Zeppelin was the biggest rock group in the world. As gods they flew with a private jet about America from Stadium to stadium, on the road, a trail of wrecked hotel rooms and outworn groupies pulling. Thus the myth, which above all was created by journalist Stephen Davis in his widely-acclaimed scandal book Hammer Of The Gods. This power Quartet was in full bloom at once artistic and Lord and master on stage and in the studio. After the successful IV suggested successor Houses Of The Holy does not disappoint, despite the lack of a successor of the epic Stairway To Heaven. In addition to enduring favorites as the heavy war song No Quarter and the lingering ballad The Rain Song (which John Paul Jones a complete Orchestra from his Mellotron picks) is also quasi gegrapt in the James Brown-D'yer Mak'er song pastiche The Crunch and the reggae (a corruption of Jamaica). Airy also sounds the swinging rock song Dancing Days whose story has it that the whole Quartet was about to dance in the studio during the playback of the recording. The Ocean is an ode to the vast ocean of public, as seen from the stage, which Led Zeppelin still accepts something of his myth on this rich and creative rock album. This remaster contains an extra cd with the whole album (minus D'yer Mak'er) in different mixes.
