Going through all my old records with a new turntable. This stands out as a well mastered record. Lots of low end to ground the rhythm section. Dynamic with a defined soundstage. A US pressing to boot. I have to thank young me for keeping this record in great shape for all these decades.

Edited one year agoI am surprised how good this sounds. Very punchy and clear. I have not heard a UK which is said to be better. If so it might be a case of simply not knowing how good that one sounds having the master tapes. But, the combination of Sterling mastering and Monarch pressing is usually a good combo and is in this case even if working off a copy tape. If the UK cost is prohibitive with shipping then this might be a good alternative.
