Notes
The same as Exit Planet Dust, except that this copy is pressed at EMI Mfg. instead of Disctronics (distinguished by the CD's matrix). This copy's CD looks slightly different in that the catalog number and the copyright string of text are both printed in a smaller font and the Astralwerks logo has a black background behind the sun. Album title text is also more jagged.

Edited 3 years agoReleased in 1995, this was the first album from The Chemical Brothers. At the time, they were called "Dust Brothers". But due to an American group having the same name, they had to change their name to "Chemical Brothers". That's probably why this album is called "Exit Planet Dust".
The first six tracks definitely make you wanna get up and move. "Song To The Siren" and "Three Little Birdies Down Beats" are my favorite tracks. "Chico's Groove" is a nice slowdown from the first six tracks. "Playground For A Wedgeless Firm" is my top favorite track and "Alive Alone" has Beth Orton singing in it. She would later provide vocals for the "Dig Your Own Hole" and "Come With Us" albums.
This album's over a quarter century old. But you know what? I still think it's sounds good and trippy. A
