I just listened to this yesterday after not hearing it for years and it STILL sounds great. It hasn't aged at all. The flipside, "Anitina", is a completely different beast. It's a tremendous spaced out dubby excercise with cavernous basslines, ultra-processed vocals, and a slow, pounding synthbeat. One of the most innovative b-sides ever put onto vinyl.

"Pump Up The Volume" is the first record that introduced me to house music.
I have waited all my life for such a sound and M.A.R.R.S. made it...
How many classic tracks have been brilliantly sampled here ? Too many to mentioned.
The first Européean house music anthem.
