Nova Nova really began to find their voice with FEATURING ZARATHOUSTRA, which opens with the ambient, angular "-8" before the refractions of "X-Static" creep in, soon accompanied by a crisp snare rhythm and solid beat as the track resolves into brisk tech-house. "Christabel" throbs with a understated grace, and "Nova Cantica" incorporates a religious dirge into a string-laden digital soundscape. "+8" doubles down on the digital bits with breaks and blips. But "D.J.G.G.," perhaps Nova Nova's most famous track for good reason, incorporates an opera sample before flowing into blissful house with a more tech-centric breakdown. Shazz delivers a more house-oriented mix with his "Orange Remix," but the original still shines bright. Same goes with Nova Nova in general.
