    Hi,

    does anyone know if there is a live album
    {on vinyl}
    of the Surfers with 'KRAMER'
    {owner of the legendary Shimmy Disc Label}
    on bass? Kramer stepped in at short notice for a European tour!

      Ridiculous that this has yet to see a reissue, it is the BHS in pure form. Aggressive, vulgar, lofi, and LIVE!

          Such a great live album. I'd long been a fan and had seen them live in DC in the late 80's. Went to the Record Theater outside of Baltimore, and came across this. SO glad I bought it. That Summer, when I'd graduated from high school (1989) and spent the season working at Phillip's Crab House in Ocean City, spent many drunken nights listening to this.

              This is one of those rare instances where you're better off to track down the official CDs rather than focus on the vinyl edition. There is so much more material on the CD version and you don't want to miss it. This is the greatest live album ever and you're going to want every note. 10 out of 5 stars.

                Anyone willing to scan their insert and send me the copy? I’d pay shipping. Mine didn’t come with it and I really love the butthole surfers art.

                  Legendary double live album from one of the premier groups that pushed the limits of vulgarity both on tape and in person. If this was released on video Id dare call it the perfect Live outing. Patiently waiting for a modern reissue because it desperately needs it.

                    I have a version that was given to me by someone at Blast First Records in London in 1989 and has a mirror image of the cover. Also no inserts.

                      The best 'Butthole Surfers' Live album on double vinyl ! ! !

                      This LP is outstanding. The recording is very good and the concert itself must have been amazing to see live. It contains many of their early notable tracks as well as an REM cover ('The One I Love', Track B5) which is obviously a classic in its own right.

                      John E. Smoke live on Vinyl is one of the funniest songs i've enjoyed over the years in my collection. I love this double LP set. It also came out on CD but obviously since i only review vinyl this is the one i'd recommend.
