Quad I, II, III are all nice and dandy, but THE anthem is on the A side.
          Repeat with me fellas: Cee-o-dee-e-essss...

Quad III now this tune made my ears prick up straight away!
House with the mindbending, twisting and turning that my mind loves!
            That is all really! ;)

Ps As I have probably stated in earlier reviews..
When I heard Energy Flash for the first time I thought wow thats pretty good..

That was until every club, pirate radio station, legal radio station, mates bedrooms and every cat dog and Tim Dick and Harry caned it to death!

Then I started buying (for big prices) Joey's older or lesser known to the main stream releases.

            And then the box opened!

Joey Beltram should get some sort of a 'services to humanity' award for his consistent brilliance?

            Just a thought.... ;)

C.O.D.E.S. still gives me goosebumps. It's interesting that Quad I has become the acclaimed track in recent years. I think Quad II is atually thee one; that piano! Shame it's not longer.

Quad 1 is the tip -- expected this one to be going for quite a bit more

Yes the 1991 period produced some quality music from this man. C.O.D.E.S reminds me of 'Mind to Mind' released on the flip of 'Mentasm' R&S Records the same year. The synth lines and key changes send shivers down my spine...special release.

forget about his lame "slice"- or "forklift"-releases, this is maybe his best work so far and ever. a brilliant crossover of techno, house and trance, with a more than catchy hookline on "c.o.d.e.s.", which gets some eerie bonus by the voice samples. all thumps up on this hard to find nu groove gem!
