Edited 3 years agoRecorded just out side Paris and at Warner Bros. in Burbank, the Gibb Bros. put together the second best selling soundtrack of all time...FYI: #1 soundtrack is "The Bodyguard"...Double LP that delivers cut after cut...Additional material from other groups help cement the legacy of this wax...Music make the movie? This is the prime example of that...a Marginal flick becomes a CLASSIC thanks to the Gibb boys...

Wonderful pressing, so glad I received this instead of a newer repress. Detailed, punchy and rich sound. My copy benefited from a few extra wet cleanings. Feels almost like a best of compilation in a weird way.

This album was actually counterfeited to meet the demand for it! They were almost identical to the genuine ones, but the print is slightly fuzzy on both the cover and the labels. The sound quality is also not as crisp. Since so many different bootleggers were making them, that could explain why there are so many different versions of this out there that seem almost normal, but with varying quality. If you have one that is just plain weird (like the single record version) or something stranger, you probably have a counterfeit.

I have always preferred this version with the live version of Jive Talkin'. It seems odd that some pressings of this have the studio version and some have the live version.

definitely a serious collectors item!! The music soundtrack did a great deal in propelling the movie.Forget most of the crap you see these days. This was serious music!
