i think it's interesting making a cd like this. not that it hasn't been done before, but i enjoy hearing bands do what they do best. create and re-create. making a rendition of a song that already exists isn't all that easy, so i give it up to anyone who can do it well and this cd is good. i give it 6.8/10
only thing is i wish they woulda picked a better bjork song lol -
Edited 2 years agoBought this and was, well, not that pleased. Some of the samples of the tracks were better than the tracks themselves. A lot of interesting renditions but some of them enter pretentious land and blip blop-land. My favourite rendition is french rock band HEMP, the move of transforming Graham Massey's thick bassline into a guitar riff is nothing short of genius.
