Excellent sound and a brilliant EK album. Turku is the monster: it revolves on a tricky time signature and melds fuzz-psych to Master Musicians of Jajouka circular-breathing double-reed playing. Cemalim shares DNA with both Flower Travelin' Band's "Satori Part I" and Kevin Ayers "Singing A Song In The Morning". Pharaway has done well with its reissues, GZ notwithstanding. -
It’s a great reissue. Very well done. The sound is way over what I expected and the music is timeless.
