I picked up a fairly clean Allentown mono copy and found it, like almost all Allentown copies I have contained in decent condition, to be of excellent sound quality. I compared this with a 1st Pitman mono I have and it is much punchier, clearer and with better instrument separation. The 1st Pitman is on par with the 2017 mono rerelease - good and worth picking up to have a copy. The Allentown trumps both.
