I wish this label would have continued with this vibe instead of morphing it into "freestyle", which consisted of crappy vocals, crap lyrics, and "orch hits".

Edited 13 years agoThe follow up to Al-Naafisyh is in every way as good as it's predecessor.Superbly funky and really haunting it still sounds like something Martians would dance to in 2080.I don't know what was in the water that Jerry Calliste was drinking when he made this, but it made him make inspired music.

for some reason, i always liked this one even more than al-nafiysh...the beat programming fusing a dmx with an 808 was a difficult thing to do back then, so it was outstanding alone 4 this fact...but what really makes me still having goosebumps everytime i hear it is these awesome pads combined to the crystal clear bassline and that pearling arpeggio...FANTASTIC RECORD...!
