What a great sounding record. The mastering is phenomenal and although it isn’t my favorite record in the world, it is a great sounding one.

My copy says on the back of the cover: 'For Governmental Sale Only'. So this pressing was reserved to US Government employees only

Edited 2 years agoAmazing pressing and mastering! Big holographic soundstage w/ perfectly balanced EQ! *Very* quiet vinyl after a vac-clean. Can you say "Song-of-the-Wind??" No need to get the 2008 SC release, this is the one to get. boys and girls........... "If it ain't Santa Maria, it ain't jack s#it!!!!

Play "Song of the Wind" and be transported to another dimension.. This is one fantastic sounding record with stunning music to back it, just beautiful all around.

lol does anyone else have this record with "Simon and Garfunkel's Greatest Hits" labels on the A and B side? It's pretty funny knowing that Santana's "Caravanserai" is playing from it. I own this version as well.

Edited 6 years agoA kick-ass Latin rock record that borders between the progressive, the Antillean, and the exotic. It's hard to describe this one but considering that it came out a year after Santana III, it's an impressive piece. Call me crazy but the beat heard in "Stone Flower" sounds alot like reggaeton
