Surely her most underrated album, and one of the absolute highlights of her career. Entracte finds Hardy in an unusually sultry, sensual mood in a concept album about a one-night stand, delivered with a killer set of songs with a wonderfully rich mid 70s production and instrumentation. It's a genuinely sexy, intimate record that is best played at night, perhaps with someone illicit in your bed! ;-)
If this was a later work by a big UK or US star from the 60s, it would be lauded as a masterpiece. It's an absolute gem of an album.
