Notes
Track 4 title listed as "Close Encounter"
Track 5 is wrongly titled "Peace In Our Time"
Track 7 is credited to Ray Keith both as artist and as composer and producer, probably because of the cover of Wots My Code - Dubplate (The Terrorist Mixes - The Final Licks).
Track 10 title listed as "Razor's Edge"
Track 12 is wrongly titled "The Change". The cover credits a certian "Smith" for composition and production instead of Paul Frazer Clarke.

Edited one year agoEchoing the comment below .....This compilation is just wonderful, really sums up the year before, tracks such as "Twisted girl" "Music is so special" & "Flying" were evoking pieces of music for the time!
Crazy that as I write this, these masterpieces are now 30 years old ....Wow
If I was to be critical I would remove "The Licence", while its a great track, it was put on soo many compilations in the years that followed. Great job though Phil, the whole series is an eye opener into the other side of this massive scene -
Edited 4 years agoMeaning of the words incredible, wonderful, phenomenal is not enough to explain how good it is!

This album was compiled by myself Basement Phil. When I was running Vinyl Distribution and trying to break the new DnB sound that was emerging 'Jumpin & Pumpin' ed me and asked if I would compile a series of Lps for them. I compiled 3 in total also compiled Jungle Tekno Volume Three - Drum 'N' The Bass - A Way Of Life, Jungle Tekno 5 - The Deep Side & Jungle Tekno 7 - Drum 'n' Bass - The Musical Style.
