This is the version to get. The French pressings with the metallic label were rushed out and the band weren't happy with the mastering. It was recut by Arun until they were happy. Anything with ARUN A5 and above in the matrix is how the band wanted it to sound and this UK press sounds far superior to the earlier French presses. -
My copy is flat, centered, & quiet. Very well recorded and mastered to vinyl w/ zero compression / sibilance / mud drama. Completely worth hunting down a super clean copy and experience textbook mod.

Edited one year agoThis one is the business. I did have the 180g 2017 remaster, then picked up an original and the remaster is heading off to ebay. The sound of the original is so much richer. It has a nice chunky full sound that the scuzzy remaster doesn’t have. Chalk and cheese. An essential album.

My copy (same labels etc) has a black Limited Edition sticker on the rear of the sleeve - no idea why and what makes it so. -
I have a copy of this and there is a Jam magazine insert. Has anyone else seen one like this?

My copy has a plain white inner bag and a lyric / picture sheet separately. Did early UK press actually have lyric / picture inner bag as French printed UK version had?

There are currently 5 cassette versions for sale on eBay: Netherlands issue as above, another 823 284-4 but the cassette is black, the UK issue, and issues from both Australia and New Zealand.

Hi - my album version states PD-1-6315 (2382 599) on the sleeve, and the record states PD-1-6315 (2383 599) on it. Cant see the 2382 version anywhere?

I have this LP but the Matrix Runout reads (Stamped In Side A): POLD 5035 A.1J.1.1
Runout reads (Stamped In Side B): POLD 5035 B.1J.1.1
And nothing on the LP about ARUN
I have searched every where and can not find anyone else having this matrix for this LP
