Just like all the other releases of the famed 1972 European Spring Tour, a Ampex MM-1000 16-track recorder was used to record this show.
The sound quality is incredible!
This release isn’t the full show from 4/26/72 but it’s packed with highlights, especially disc two. Trucking’-> The Other One (mistakenly listed as Cryptical Envelopment) is worth owning this release alone.
Not sure why this flies under the radar but I suspect it’s most likely because it was released in the shadow of the un-top-able Europe ‘72 album. It is a fun concert and it’s definitely worth picking up. -
My copy is a promo that matches all matrix info, etc, but both disc faces say "NOT FOR SALE" in white lettering (not too large/prominent). Should it be a separate entry, or considered just a promo copy of this version of the release?
